On today’s Happening in Homer segment:
Village trustee Tim Daley delved into topics including LED light installation, traffic studies on Route 281 and updates on sewer/water infrastructure projects.
He also had some exciting news on the neighborhood basketball courts, located behind the fire department on Main Street.
“I’m excited to say it looks like we are going to be able to open them up soon,” said Daley. “The state has guidance for us and now we’re doing our part to get the ball rolling.”
Even more, around $10k will help renovate the courts in a project that could include resurfacing and new backboards.
More details are likely to be discussed at the next village board meeting on May 11.
