On this week’s Happening in Homer segment:
Deputy mayor Patrick Clune sat down for a busy discussion with WXHC news director Vinnie Bellardini.
Village leaders are compiling a list of ongoing projects, which currently stands at more than two dozen big-and-small.
Some of which include various construction/restoration plans, an extensive budgeting process and the gradual digitization of official records like municipal codes for easy online access.
A full tabulation will be printed in the latest addition of The Homer News.
Clune also mentioned an upcoming community survey to assess the general concerns of residents.
Part of that will involve gathering input on the village police department, as per a state-mandated review put forth by executive order from the governor.
All localities in the state must do so by April 2021, or else lose eligibility for any funding assistance.
