Coming up on Sunday, May 18th, the Freeville Farmers Market will be holding a Plant Sale from noon until 4pm in front of the Freeville Elementary School (43 Main Street, Freeville). The event not only will feature the normal weekly vendors, but additional vendors and special guests that will make the day even more special.
Freeville Farmers Market is made possible through the vendors that are all local and whose products are all sourced locally as well. Their mission is not only to promote the local food producers, farmers, and artisans, but to also to ensure access to healthy food to those who live in and around Freeville. Many vendors accept Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers, and for eligible purchases, SNAP.
Musical guests at the 2025 Freeville Plant Sale are made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the office of the Governor and NYS Legislature, administered by the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County.
In addition to available vendor space at the Plant Sale, the Freeville Farmers Market is always looking for vendors to participate throughout the season. To learn more, join their mailing list, and to submit a vendor application, visit FreevilleFarmersMarket.org.
