Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to Walmart again on Monday, May 1st, for a reported larceny that had taken place at the store.
After officers arrived and began to investigate the incident, it was determined 38 year old Christopher A. Leonard of Pitcher, NY, had passed all points of sale within the store and failed to pay for any of the merchandise he had in his possession.
Leonard was charged with Petit Larceny, a Misdemeanor and was transported to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and later released on an appearance ticket. He is due back in Town of Cortlandville Court later this month.
