Pinwheel Gardens are Sprouting Up Around Cortland to Raise Awareness For Child Abuse Prevention Month
The Cortland Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is asking members of the community to help raise awareness by purchasing a pinwheel garden. Cost is $20 and can be purchased at their offices, at 60 Central Ave., the County Office Building. Look for the pinwheel garden sign. You’ll get 20 pinwheels to plant.
Executive Director of the CAC, Kris Beard says they helped 171 victims in 2024 in Cortland County alone.
The Cortland County Child Advocacy Center is a community organization dedicated to the prevention, education, and investigation of child abuse.
