Collins’ long-awaited autobiography, Not Dead Yet: The Memoir, being published on October 20th.

Highlights on the compilation include such-era defining hits as “Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now),” “Sussudio,” “One More Night,” “Separate Lives” with Marilyn Martin, “A Groovy Kind Of Love,” “Two Hearts,” “Another Day In Paradise,” “You Can’t Hurry Love,” “Easy Lover” with Philip Bailey, “Don’t Lose My Number,” “Take Me Home,” “I Wish It Would Rain Down,” “Something Happened On The Way To Heaven,” “Do You Remember?,” “I Don’t Care Anymore,” and the Oscar Award-winning animated Tarzan theme, “You’ll Be In My Heart.”

Although compiling their hits for most artists may seem like a walk down memory lane, Phil Collins explained to us that he’s seemingly always had one foot in the past when dealing with his back catalogue: “I’ve been exposed to these albums, y’know, all throughout my career with tours, y’know, listening back to them. Listening for songs to do that we haven’t been doing: ‘Are there any songs on this album that we can play?’ I kinda feel like I know them, so it’s not a surprise to go back to them. I mean, obviously, the sound, the technology has changed drastically since Face Value (which) is 35 years ago.” Heatwave”
