Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Preble Rest Area just after 6:30 in the evening on Wednesday, November 8th, for a complaint of a disorderly male.
After officers arrived to the rest area they found the suspect, 59 year old Steven P. Sullivan of Pennellville, was unclothed inside his vehicle watching indecent material and exposing himself in public.
Officers arrested Sullivan and charged him with Public Lewdness. He was transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where he was processed and later released on appearance tickets. Sullivan is due to appear in Preble Town Court later this month.
