Paul McCartney kicks off the 2019 North American leg of his Freshen Up Tour tonight, May 23, at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. The trek features a total of 16 shows, and is mapped out through a July 13 concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.
The trek will include a June 28-29 stand at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, as well as stops in major cities in the Southeastern U.S., the Midwest, Texas, California, Arizona and Vancouver, Canada.
McCartney is continuing to promote his chart-topping 2018 solo album, Egypt Station, on the tour. Last week, Sir Paul released a deluxe “Explorer’s Edition” of the album that features a bonus disc offering extra studio recordings, including an extended version of “Who Cares,” the surprise single “Get Enough,” and live performances from the special shows he played last year in London, New York City and his hometown of Liverpool, U.K.
Egypt Station: Explorer’s Edition is available as a two-CD set, a three-LP vinyl package and digitally.
