The Guthrie Cortland Medical Center has launched “MyChart Bedside” which is a program that allows inpatients to access details about their condition and treatment on a bedside tablet. The patients can now look at information about their hospitalization including their lab results, medications and descriptions, and information on their care team.
The tablets provided can give patients the option to sign forms, message their care team, request non-emergency items, take notes, and select meal choices from a wide selection that fits the patients dietary needs.
