A man and woman were arrested in Cortland on Sunday in possession of a vehicle reported stolen just hours prior by the Syracuse Police Department.
Fifty-eight-year-old Steven Kilgore, of Penfield, and 35-year-old Bridget Thomas, of Syracuse, were located in the stolen vehicle by Officers with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Department, parked in the Dollar General parking lot on Homer Avenue in the city.
The pair also had marijuana in their possession.
Kilgore was arraigned in the city and released to reappear in court on May 1. Thomas was released on an appearance ticket and is directed to appear in city court on April 17.
Both are charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property (Class E felony) and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation).
