Do you know a young person who could benefit from a part-time job this summer? The Cortland County Summer Youth Employment Program connects youth ages 14-20 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences at work sites around Cortland County.
Participants develop workplace skills, explore career pathways, and engage in learning experiences that increase future employability.
The program also provides specialized opportunities for young adults ages 21-24 who face barriers to employment. The application deadline for the Summer Youth Employment Program is May 30.
Residency and income eligibility requirements apply. For more information and to complete an application, visit cayugacortlandworks.org or call Cortland Works Career Center at 756-7585.
