Over $600K Raised During Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign at Price Chopper
Price Chopper and Market 32 say over $618,000 was raised during the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign at their grocery stores. The campaign ran for six weeks beginning in November and ending prior to Christmas in December. Money that was raised goes to funding essential services provided by the Salvation Army including food assistance, shelter, and emergency relief.
“Every donation made at our stores has a direct impact, allowing The Salvation Army to provide hope and assistance to those who need it most,” said Pam Cerrone, Market 32/Price Chopper director of community relations. “We’re proud of our longstanding partnership and incredibly grateful to our customers for stepping up and supporting their important work and making a difference in the lives of so many.”
The Salvation Army says money raised at locations stays in the community to support both families and individuals through their programs.
