An arrest has been made in connection to an October 2019 larceny report, involving a tractor that had been stolen from a farm in the town of Virgil.
Investigators with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office developed a lead that took them to the northern part of the state, eventually locating the stolen tractor at a residence in Brasher Falls.
Authorities then had the tractor impounded and returned to its owner in Virgil.
Turning himself in for the crime yesterday morning was 39-year-old Benjamin Marsh, who lives at the Brasher Falls residence.
He was charged with a felony for 3rd-degree grand larceny, along with a trespassing violation.
Marsh is scheduled to reappear in Town of Virgil court on July 21.
