“Operation Gravy Train” Arrests Include Two From Cortland

Two people from Cortland are among more than 100 arrested as part of an upstate New York drug bust, according to State Attorney General Eric Schneidermann.

Daniel Nye and Casey Jo West were named as part of two major drug distribution networks that transported heroin, fentanyl and cocaine to St. Lawrence County, according to information provided by the Attorney General.

Nearly two dozen law enforcement agencies were part of what was called “Operation Gravy Train.”

Police say they recovered 2,600 bags of heroin, 3,000 bags of fentanyl and 700 bags of cocaine, worth nearly $100,000.
