Around 8:20 Friday morning (April 4th), emergency personnel were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Church and Elm Streets in the City of Cortland. One vehicle ended up rolling over onto its roof as a result of the crash.
Cortland Fire says all patients were able to self extricate from both vehicles with one person transported by TLC to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Cortland Fire assisted with traffic control during the busy morning commute and cleaned up debris and fluids from the vehicles. Firefighters were on scene for about an hour.
Cortland Police told X101 News the vehicle at fault was deemed to be the one that rolled over. CPD says the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Elm Street when it failed to stop at a red light and went into oncoming traffic on Church Street where it collided with another vehicle.
