One Injured in Two Car Crash in Village of Homer

Around 11 in the morning on Tuesday, November 7th, emergency officials responded to the intersection of Copeland Ave. and Cortland Street in the Village of Homer for a two car motor vehicle crash with injuries.

Homer Fire, Police, and TLC Ambulance responded to the scene within minutes of the initial call. Homer Firefighters were able to quickly extradite the driver of the white Nissan. Homer Police said to X101 News the driver of the Nissan failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection. Copeland Ave. was briefly shutdown.

The driver of the white Nissan, a 65 year old female, was transported via TLC Ambulance to an area hospital for a reported knee injury.

Copeland Ave. was reopened around 11:20 am.
