Officers with the Cortland County Sheriffs Office responded to help those from Broome County at the scene of a one-car rollover yesterday morning (June 6) on Interstate-81 southbound in the town of Barker.
Authorities say the crash happened around 7:00 yesterday morning at mile marker 26, the cause of which has yet to be determined.
Its been reported the car rolled over several times before finally coming to rest off the shoulder of the highway. The driver was the only person in the vehicle and was taken to a nearby hospital and released after treatment for minor injuries.
One lane was closed by DOT for several hours as the scene was investigated and cleaned up.
No tickets have been issued at this time.
