Late yesterday afternoon, Cincinnatus Fire and Ambulance was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 26 and Telephone Road.

The box truck had heavy front end damage. Cincinatus fire requested help from Marathon and Willet Fire Department’s for assistance as the driver was trapped in the vehicle.

A medivac helicopter was called and a landing zone was set up at the Cincinnatus Fairgrounds.

The medivac helicopter, Guthrie Air, airlifted the driver to update. No report on the condition of that driver was given.

Both Route 26 and Telephone road were closed for a few hours.
