Officers From Sheriff’s Office to Wear Pink Badges For Breast Cancer Awareness

The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Cortland County Sheriff Mark Helms says for this month, the Sheriff’s Office will be raising awareness. Officers within the Sheriff’s Office will wear pink badges for breast cancer awareness. Each pink badge was purchased by each individual officer, Helms noted, and will represent their support for those affected by breast cancer.

“No one should have to fight cancer alone, our officers will be there for you and your families to help raise awareness.” Helms said in a release.
