Obituary of Viola L. Storie

Viola L. Storie, 90 of Virgil, NY was born December 5, 1939, and passed away at home on February 21, 2025.

Viola graduated from Virgil High School with a double certificate and has been a member of the Virgil United Methodist Church her entire life. She was employed at Smith Corona for 30 years. An avid gardener, she was a member of the Marathon Garden Club and a member of the Sweet Adelines for over 30 years. Viola loved to decorate for every season.

A beloved wife, grandmother, and great grandmother, Viola is in Jesus’ arms and will be dearly missed.

Services for Viola will be held at the Virgil United Methodist Church on Friday, February 28, 2025, with visitation from 2:00PM to 3:30PM with a service to follow. Burial in the Virgil Cemetery will be held later at the convenience of the family.
