Lola R. Mumbulo, formerly of Cortland, passed away on October 5, 2021 at the Crown Park Nursing Center at the age of 86.
Lola was born April 9, 1935, a daughter of the late George and Mary Ann Horvath Place.
Surviving are her children, Ronald D. (Susan) Mumbulo of Dryden; Michael Mumbulo of Cortland and Diane (Randy) Henry of York, SC; her daughter-in-law, Melody Mumbulo; grandchildren, Dillon and Harley Mumbulo, Cody Hastings, Erin Carpenter, Lauren Langdon, Robert Johnson, Hunter MacLean and Kayla Johnson. Also surviving is her brother, George (Joyce) Place of Florida, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Place and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Gary Mumbulo and brothers, Donald and Ronald Place.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home, 5016 US Route 11, Homer.
The family requests all visitors attending the calling hours to please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Mumbulo’s name may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
