Faith Renee Downing Beasley, 49, of Eden NC, formally of Cortland NY, passed away on January 18, 2022 at UNC Rockingham Health Care.
Faith was born in Norwich, CT on September 27, 1972 to Paul and Ruth Downing who predecease her.
Faith was a double amputee and battled kidney disease and other aliments for the majority of her life. Her strength, Her faith, Her will, Her kindness to others will not be forgotten.
Besides spending time with family and friends, Faith loved a good cup of coffee; keeping up with her Facebook friends; playing games on her phone and her fur-babies Bandit; Charlie and Bella.
Faith was survived by her husband, Jerry Beasley of Eden, NC; her sisters Valerie (Jayme Johnson) Nitti of Cortland and Paula (Gary) Harrington of Homer. Her brothers Stephen (Sandra) Downing of CT and Lyle Joseph of Binghamton; Her nieces and nephews, Christopher; Anthony; Olivia; Paul (Felicia); Candace (Darren); Steven; Frank; Steven (Kimberly); Tammy (Rob); Liana and Melinda.
Faith is preceded in death by her brother Allen Downing and niece Lisa Downing.
A memorial service and interment will be held this spring. Faith’s final wish will be honored as she will be put to rest with her parents at the Scott Union Cemetery.
