Obituary of Domenica Cimini

Mrs. Domenica Cimini, 76, formerly of Cortland, passed away on March 26, 2025 in Centennial, Colorado where she had been residing to be closer to her daughter.

Born April 26, 1948 in Italy, Domenica resided in Cortland for many years. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.

She was employed at Crescent Corset Co. for many years, and then went on to work as a cleaner for S.U.N.Y. Cortland College from where she retired.

Survivors include: her son, Angelo (and Mila) Cimini of Atlanta, Georgia and her daughter; Adriana (and Ofer) Guez of Centennial, Colorado. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Domenica was preceded in death by her husband Nicola in 2012.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony’s Church, Cortland at 10 a.m. on Saturday April 5, 2025. The Christian Rite of Committal and Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will be present to receive friends on Friday April 4, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. in St. Anthony’s Church.
