Clayton Carl Bennett, 54 passed away at home August 27, 2021. He was born in Cortland, NY to Carl J. and Sandra Wing Bennett on August 5, 1967.
Clayt always preferred to be outside, puttering, hunting and fishing. His favorite sports teams were The Yankees and The Giants. He was a self-employed mechanic and he could fix anything.
Clayton is survived by his mother, Sandra Castillanos, children, Cori Ryan, Tanesha Bennett and Macen Bennett. Step children, Jamie Arnold, and Joshua Pittsley. 18 Grandchildren, sisters, Barbara Craig, Tina Richmond, Ithaca, and Diane Lundy, Syracuse, and Several Nieces and Nephews and his many friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, James Bennett, 1999, his father, 2000, granddaughter, Moriah Reynolds, 2002. His long-time companion Julie Pittsley, July 17, 2021.
Clayton will be missed by his family and friends.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
