Claude A. Munson, 92, of Cortland passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2021.
Claude was born March 5, 1929 at home in Richford, the son of Barton and Audrey Fuller Munson.
Claude worked for Gutchess and Randolph Wells and Pumps, then Barber and DeLine where he installed and serviced water pumps. After retirement, he moved to North Carolina/Florida where he had a maintenance service business.
Claude is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bertha, of Cortland, his daughters, Claudia (Jim) Golley of McGraw and Glenda (Bob) Thornton of Cortland, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, his siblings, and his son, Larry Munson.
He was a devoted family man, a faithful member of the Church of Blodgett Mills and always ready to help others.
Claude’s Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm Saturday, September 25, at the Church of Blodgett Mills. Please wear a mask, if possible.
