Arlene Ann Cimmino, 81, of Marathon, N.Y. passed away July 2, 2022 with her family at her side. Born Feb 24, 1941 in Paterson, New Jersey, Arlene was a New Jersey resident for many years before relocating to Marathon 20 years ago.
Survivors include: Her husband of 62 years, Charles Cimmino, Sr.; a son Charles Cimmino, Jr. of West Milford, New Jersey; three daughters: Rhonda (Kathy) Coppola of Brick, New Jersey, Kim (Richard) Snover of Virgil, New York, and Donna-Marie (James) Parker of Marathon, New York; and 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Arlene had a zest for life. She was known for her big heart, her beautiful smile, and her kindness. Arlene was an avid craft maker and enjoyed motorcycling and traveling. In addition, she loved knitting, coloring, spending time with family, and her winter months in Florida with her husband enjoying all that life had to offer.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of family. Entombment in the Mausoleum at Cortland Rural Cemetery will also be private.
