90, of McGraw, N.Y passed away Saturday May 30, 2015 at the age of 90. Born January 21, 1925 in Cortland, Al was a son of Rocco and Florence Dadamio DiLucci and was a lifetime resident of the area.
Al was employed in machine maintenance at Smith-Corona for many years before his retirement. He also worked with licensed plumbers, electricians and home builders with his talents in repairs and installation. Al was a communicant of St. Anthony’s Church, a board member, trustee and a cook for the Moose Club and also served on the board of Loaves and Fishes. Additionally, he was a former member of the Cortland Auxiliary Police.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Agnes Lintern DiLucci at home, a son, David DiLucci of Cortland, a grandson, Nicholas David DiLucci of Tempe, Arizona, a sister, Gilda Biviano of Cortland, sisters in law, Phyllis DiLucci of Cortland, Lois Miller of Cortland, Jean Stoker of Raleigh, N.Carolina, his special grandchildren, Haley and Madelyn Sammis and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Joseph “Nick” DiLucci , Antonio “Tony” DiLucci and sisters in law, Antoinette Fantacone DiLucci and Jeanette Lintern Short.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Riccardi Funeral Home 69 N. Main St. Cortland with Rev. Joseph Zareski officiating. Prayers of committal will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
