A man from Freeville found a mid-afternoon ATV ride landed him in trouble with New York State Police officers.
Troopers report that on Wednesday at about 2:45 pm, State Police at Ithaca arrested Jody Weaver, 44, of Freeville.
He was charged with the misdemeanor of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a B.A.C. result of .25% and other traffic violations.
Officers say the arrest occurred after a traffic stop when Weaver was seen driving an ATV without license plates while on Ashbury Road in the Town of Dryden.
A police investigation determined that he was highly intoxicated and was driving with a suspended license.
Weaver was issued tickets returnable to the Town of Dryden court on Monday.
