NYSDOT – Peruville Road to Close Until October For Culvert Replacement

The New York State Department of Transportation says Peruville Road between State Route 38 and Lick Street in the Towns of Groton and Dryden, will close beginning today, August 13th through October 1st. The closure is to allow a culvert replacement on the road.

The DOT says detour signage will be in place and for westbound traffic, they will be directed north onto Lick Street and then westwards on Route 222 and then south on Route 38.

Traffic headed east will be asked to follow signage posted directing them north on Route 38 then east on Route 22 then southwards on Lick Street.

Work on the culvert replacement will also be dependent on weather conditions.
