Event, arts & entertainment venues across New York can reopen at 33% capacity beginning on April 2.
Governor Cuomo made the announcement yesterday.
Without testing required, venues will be able to host up to 100 people indoors and no more than 200 outdoors — with mandatory testing, these limits grow to 150 and 500, respectively.
Social distancing and face coverings are required no matter what.
Additionally, domestic travelers arriving to the state no longer have to quarantine or test negative if they were fully vaccinated within the past 90 days. International Travelers must continue following CDC Guidance.
Starting March 22, outdoor residential gatherings are expanded to allow up to 25 people.
Non-residential social gatherings can now have up to 100 people indoors and 200 outdoors.
