Driver arrested in C’ville had license suspended 32 times

A NYC man was arrested in Cortland County this week, first pulled over for erratic driving, then discovered to be doing so on a bad license.



On Sunday (September 26), State Police at Marathon were called to I-81 NB.

Troopers pulled over 26-year-old Mohamed T. Omar, of Rockaway Beach, for speeding in Cortlandville f

An investigation revealed his license was invalid, having been suspended 32 separate times.

Omar was charged with a felony for 1st degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation.

He was later released on an appearance ticket to the Cortlandville Town Court on October 25.
