New York State Senator, Lea Webb (NY-52), has gained another endorsement for her reelection campaign for the 52nd Senate District in New York State. Webb, a Democrat, is facing Republican opponent Mike Sigler this November.

The New York State League of Conservation Voters has given their endorsement to Senator Webb. The organization is a climate advocacy organization that fights for clean water, air, and renewable energy.

“As a State Senator, Lea Webb has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to environmental protection and fighting climate change. On her way to earning a perfect 100% on our Environmental Scorecard, she has championed policies that promote clean energy and public transportation, green jobs and education programs, food security and zero-waste initiatives, and more. For these reasons and more, we are proud to endorse her for reelection to the State Senate.”

President of the NYS League of Conservation Voters, Julie Tighe said in a release.

Webb’s Office says she was one of 22 State Senators, out of 63 in total, who have earned a perfect score on the New York League of Conservation Voters annual State Environmental scorecard.
