NY Senator Webb Announces Summer Reading Program

New York State Senator Lea Webb (SD-52) has announced the launch of her Summer Reading Program for children throughout the 52nd Senate District. Webb says this year’s theme for the program is “Adventure Begins at Your Library” and will aim to inspire curiosity and a love for reading.

The reading program will encourage kids to visit their local libraries and see everything they have to offer.

“Reading is a gateway to adventure, knowledge, and growth,” said Senator Lea Webb. “Our local libraries are treasure troves of information and imagination. Through this Summer Reading Program, we aim to spark a love for reading in our young residents and support their academic journey even during the summer break.”

With the summer reading program, kids will be able to continue their reading skills throughout the summer season and create a habit of regular reading. Webb also noted it will support educational development and provide an enjoyable and productive activity for students.
