NY DMV Announces Transactions Are Unable to be Processed Both Online and at Offices Throughout State Due to an Outage – Cortland Office Closed For Time Being

The New York State Department of Motor Vehicles has announced that due to an ongoing global internet outage, the DMV will be unable to process any transactions both online and in-person.

The New York DMV says they’re actively working to resolve the issue and will provide updates when available at DMV.NY.Gov.

The Cortland County Clerk’s Office says the outage is currently impacting minimal transactions. The Clerk’s Office remains open at this time. Residents with questions for the Clerk’s Office may contact the office during normal business hours at 607-753-5021.
