Norwich Man Charged With Rape That Occurred in Town of Willet

Last month, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says they received a report of sex abuse allegations which occurred between 2019 and 2024 at an undisclosed location in the Town of Willet.

During the investigation into the sex abuse allegations, the Sheriff’s Office says 31 year old Joshua A. Marshall of Norwich, had subjected one victim to inappropriate sexual contact between 2019 and 2024. The victim was known to Marshall.

Marshall was arrested on September 13th on charges of Rape in the 1st, a Felony, and Assault in the 3rd, a Misdemeanor. He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office where he was processed through the Centralized Arraignment Process and remanded to Cortland County Jail with bail set at $10,000 cash and $20,000 bond.

He is due in Willet Town Court next month.
