Village of Homer Police Chief Bob Pitman is asking residents and visitors not to park on any streets during the ongoing snowfall event to allow DPW crews ample space to keep them clear.
More than a foot of total accumulation is possible in parts of Cortland County, which is expected to continue falling heavily this afternoon before calming into light flurries that extend into the evening.
Wind gusts of up to 40 mph are also expected.
Residents will be advised as soon as the parking restriction has been lifted.
A big “thank you” goes out to the plow crews here in Homer and across Cortland County.
