With better weather approaching, high school students throughout New York State will begin to travel to proms and graduation ceremonies. Multiple police departments in our area including the City of Cortland Police Department, Homer Police Department, and the Cortland County Sheriff want to ensure this memorable season is happy and safe for teens and their families.
During the week of April 25th to the 29th, multiple police departments will be participating in the 2022 No Empty Chair Campaign which brings awareness of the highway dangers to ensure there won’t be any empty chairs during a prom or graduation.
