Early voting starts this Saturday, offering nine days to submit ballots leading up to the general election.
Cortland County residents can vote early at the local board of elections, 112 River Street in the city.
Most should enter using the rear of the building — the front entrance is handicap accessible for those needing accommodation.
Dates and times for early voting include:
- Two Saturdays and Sundays (October 23, 24, 30, 31) from 9am-2pm
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday (October 25, 27, 29) from 9am-5pm
- Tuesday and Thursday (October 26, 28) from Noon-8 pm.
General Election Day is Tuesday, November 2. All regular poll sites will be open from 6 am to 9 pm.
