Cortland County Legislature has approved the 2022 Cortland County Tourism Marketing Grants.
The Cortland County Convention & Visitors Bureau distributes these occupancy funds.
The Convention and Visitor Bureau’s Tourism Marketing Grant Review Group met in November to review applications for use of half of the occupancy tax funding for tourism marketing which encourages overnight stays at Cortland County hotels, and has recommended that certain amounts of funding be made available to organizations’s that sought funding.
All funds were approved last night unanimously.

Center for the Arts of Homer – $33,000
Central NY Maple Festival – $6,000
Cortland Crush NYCBL Baseball – $5,000
Cortland County Historical Society – $13,477
Cortland Main Street Music Series – $2,700
Cortland Regional Sports Council – $120,000
Cortland Repertory Theatre – $33,000
Cortland Arts Connect (Cultural Council) – $10.000
Holiday in Homer – $2,500
Homer Cortland Community Agency – $18,000
Homeville Museum – $2,000
JM McDonald Sports Complex – $20,000
Lime Hollow Nature Center – $12,000
and Statewide Country Music Park – $5,000
