One of the all-time greatest bands in rock history will help bring the 2016 Great New York State Fair to a close, as Chicago performs at 6pm on Labor Day, Sept. 5th at Chevy Court, acting Fair Director Troy Waffner announced today.
This will be Chicago’s first appearance at the fair in 26 years and its fourth appearance overall.
Chicago’s appearance takes place on the final day, Labor Day, when admission will be just $1 and all rides on the Wade Shows Midway will be $1.
At the same time, Waffner announced several other performances that will take place at Chevy Court.
Bruce Hornby and The Noisemakers, Sunday, Aug. 28th at 8pm.
Air Supply, Sunday, Aug. 28th at 2pm.
Herman’s Hermits return for a Senior day performance, Aug. 29th at 2pm.
Survivor, Aug. 30th at 3pm
The Commodores, Aug. 30th at 8pm.
All performances by national touring groups at Chevy Court are free with admission to the fair.
