New York State Fair Announces Applications for Reprize-A-Prize Program

The New York State Fair announced Monday that applications for non-profit organizations taking part in the Reprize-A-Prize program have begun.

Reprize-A-Prize allows fairgoers to donate stuffed animals and other prizes won during the fair that will go to underserved families within the community. The prizes will then go to the non-profit organizations that won the bid. These organizations specialize in low-income and special needs populations, and will work with the fair to coordinate the delivery of prizes.

The program will be active through the state’s entire run, from August 21st to September 2nd. Applications for Reprize-A-Prize are due on July 31st at 11:59 pm, and winners will be notified by August 14th.
