Tomorrow is primary day for democrats in the State of New York who have yet to cast an early vote. Polling stations will be open tomorrow, August 23rd from 6am to 9pm.
Voters will have the opportunity to choose who they want on the democratic ticket for NY Senate District 52 and Congressional District 19 in the state.
Currently on the ballot for New York Senate are Lea Webb and Leslie Danks Burke. X101 had the chance to sit down with both candidates and speak with them on a wide range of topics and hear their stances.
For New York’s Congressional District 19 it is newly redrawn and spans from Tompkins county to the Massachusetts border. The newly redrawn district keeps Cortland County as a whole. The two candidates competing in the democratic ticket are Josh Riley and Jamie Cheney. X101 also had interviews with both candidates.
Below you can see each interview X101 has with each candidate.
