Around 12pm on Saturday, May 20th, Troopers from the New York State Police Barracks in Homer responded to a report of a vehicle going down an embankment on I81 North in the Town of Homer.
As Troopers spoke with the driver of the vehicle, 39 year old Patricia A. Thompson of New Woodstock, NY, they observed signs of her being impaired. Troopers then conducted a field sobriety test on Thompson, who performed poorly.
She was arrested and charged with Driving While Impaired by Drugs, a Misdemeanor. She was transported to SP Homer for processing and then turned over to Cortland County Central Arraignment and Processing.
