New Traffic Light at Intersection of Main, Port Watson, and Tompkins Streets to be Activated Today
The new traffic light at the busy intersection of Main, Port Watson, and Tompkins Streets in Downtown Cortland, will be activated today, May 1st, according to Crown City Rising. The traffic light was installed last year as part of the Main Street reconstruction process with the anticipation of Main Street once again becoming two-way.
With the announcement of the activation of the light, traffic delays are expected to occur. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic, but motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes during the busy commute hours.
