A new Siena College Poll out just this morning sheds light on voter sentiment around a variety of topics.
Governor Cuomo’s favorability, job performance and re-elect ratings are down, but voters continue to say he should not resign, 51-37%.
New Yorkers also still approve Cuomo’s handling of the pandemic nearly 2-to-1 (60-32%). By a 44-22% margin, they believe the governor has committed sexual harassment.
Voters are divided on the State Budget – 38% say it is good for New York, while 36% feel the contrary.
There is overwhelming support (72-20%) for a statewide “millionaire’s tax.”
Legalized marijuana as strong support (57-36%), as does support for an ‘Excluded Workers Fund’ (53-39%).
