New Sidewalks Begin to be Poured on Main Street Cortland

The news will be a good “step” towards the completion of the years-long Main Street reconstruction project. Construction crews have begun to pour sidewalks on the western side of Main Street between Clinton Ave and Court Street.

While the new sidewalks are being poured, road grading continues on the east side of Main Street, also between Clinton Ave and Court Street. For the intersection at Main, Groton, and Clinton Ave, the installation of new street lighting bases and fiber optic conduit continues.
