The Cortland County Sheriffs Office arrested a New Hampshire man Sunday (October 28) after they found him asleep in his vehicle with a loaded semi-automatic pistol.
Sheriffs say they spotted the vehicle of 29-year-old Nicholas Stultz in the parking lot of the Grace Christian Fellowship Church in Cortlandville during the early Sunday morning hours.
Upon approaching the vehicle and interviewing Stultz, officers discovered both drug paraphernalia and a loaded sem-auto .45 ACP handgun that was not registered in New York and Stulz did not have a permit for.
Police also found a small amount of marijuana and several pieces of paraphernalia in the vehicle.
Stultz was arrested, arraigned in the Town of Cortlandville Court and sent to Cortland County Jail on $2,000 cash/ $4,000 bond.
He’s set to re-appear on November 14th.
