Outdoor upgrades made at Dwyer Memorial Park
Local News June 22, 2020Dwyer Memorial Park has seen multiple outdoor improvement projects reach their completion in recent days, including the installation of eight brand-new Hibachi grills.
Each was custom fabricated by Homer Ironworks and includes adjustable grill heights, covers and a flat area on one end, according to a Facebook post on the Friends of Dwyer Park page.
Also available are new picnic tables that were built by members of the county highway department.
While the annual 3rd of July fireworks have been cancelled, the park is still available for use by residents as long as proper social distancing protocols are followed.
