A new drive-up breakfast and coffee truck will be coming to Cortlandville soon.
During Tuesday’s Cortlandville Planning Board meeting, owner Wayman Sweat spoke to the board of his plans to open up a drive-up breakfast and coffee truck for patrons looking for a fresh breakfast and good coffee.
The location for the drive-up would be at 985 State Route 13 (Next to Enterprise Rental Car). The business would be one where patrons would drive up, get out of their car and walk up to order and not a drive-thru, where patrons stay in their vehicles.
A concern was raised about potential traffic problems, but were quickly relieved when Sweat informed the board the property owner, Jeffrey Bushnell, would open up additional space for parking. Planning and Zoning Officer, Bruce Weber, also added in since the business is not a drive-thru, no traffic would accumulate.
The board voted unanimously to grant Sweat for a conditional permit, an opening date was not disclosed during the meeting.
