National Weather Service Warns of Numerous Severe Thunderstorms – Possible Tornadoes, Damaging Winds, and Heavy Rainfall

The remnants of Hurricane Beryl will hit the Central New York region today, Wednesday July 10th. The National Weather Service in Binghamton says the CNY region is under an enhanced risk for severe weather and numerous severe thunderstorms are possible.

With the increased threat, the possibility for tornadoes, damaging winds, and heavy rain, have increased. Storms are expected to begin moving in around noon on Wednesday and continue until the early morning hours Thursday. Temperatures are expected to remain hot and humid today, especially in the afternoon.
